Winning Week 8 Picks
Arizona at Green Bay, pick: Green Bay
Give me a break? Liam thinks that Golden Boy Leinart is going to be effective in the cold of Lambeau Field? Poor guy, loses to Oakland on Sunday, has his first official illegitimate child during the week, and now finds himself playing in the coldest weather he's ever had to face. Life is not good for the Golden Boy lately.
Atlanta at Cincinnati, pick: Who Dey? The Bengals
Ocho Cinco was talking big about DeAngelo Fall this week, it'll be interesting to see who comes out on top. My guess is the Bengals at home.
Baltimore at New Orleans, pick: New Orleans
Brees and Bush are the difference makers this year in New Orleans and coming off a bye week I trust they'll be ready for the Ravens.
Houston at Tennessee, pick: Houston
Houston has shown some recent signs of life whereas Houston is still a couple years away with the development of Vince Young. Houston gets the job done, and not the same kind of job that Houston did in Metro's Houston 500, that's a different Houston (right) altogether and you can debate the merits of which Houston is better all by yourself.
Jacksonville at Philadelphia, pick: Philadelphia
One might begin to think that a 62 yard FG might wake the Eagles and teach them that they have to put teams away.
Seattle at Kansas City, pick: Seattle
No Hasselbeck. Shit. No Alexander. Double shit. But Huard is game time decision and the Seattle D, although maligned this year, is froathing at the mouth at the prospect of playing Brodie Coyle and Casey Printers. Seattle steals one at Arrowhead.
San Francisco at Chicago, pick: Chicago
The Rex Grossman fan club has not lost any faith after a rough performance against the Cardinals two weeks ago, and to justify our faith the Bears will trounce the 49ers in the Massacre Of The Bay Area Barbies.
Tampa Bay at New York Giants, pick: Giants
The Giants exposed the Eagles earlier this year with 4th quarter heroics. Matt Bryant unleashed an unforgetable game winnning 62 yard FG against the Eagles last week. The big leg of Bryant won't be able to save the Bucs against the new class of the NFC... The New York Football Giants.
St. Louis at San Diego, pick: San Diego
San Diego, too tough at home, and too motivated after a tough loss last week.
Indianapolis at Denver, pick: Indianapolis
I know why Liam likes Denver in this game but then given that fact that Liam also likes Sarah Harmer I can not trust him on this one. I'm going with the undefeated Colts.
New York Jets at Cleveland, pick: Cleveland
Cleveland played the Ravens tight at home earlier in the year and with the resignation of Maurice Carthon this week as Browns O-coordinator, I have to believe the Brownies have something to prove on Sunday.
Pittsburgh at Oakland, pick: Pittsburgh
Oakland has already one their 1 game for the season.
Dallas at Carolina, pick: Carolina
Tony Romo against the Carolina D. Give me the Panthers.
MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
New England at Minnesota, pick: New England
Finally Liam Mans Up and picks his team. Costly mistake. The Patriots are rolling and looking at both teams results against their only mutual opponent this season, the Buffalo Bills, the Pats are obviously a class above the Vikes.

Week 8 Picks
Okay, it's GO time. Down 3-2 in the weekly picks, it's time to put the women and children to bed and go looking for dinner. On with the picks:
Arizona at Green Bay: Arizona
Not sure why, but I have a feeling that the Cards might be okay here. The Packers pass D is horrific, and if you haven't heard, the Cards like to pass a bit. With Edge only rushing at 2.8 yards a game, they have to pass. And pass often.
Atlanta at Cincinnati: Cincinatti
Bitch, I can't wait to watch Chad Johnson. Those guarantees and his brash comments will make me watch this game with eager anticipation. I think that I do want to see him shave his head tho.
Baltimore at New Orleans: Baltimore
Redemption time for the Ravens. Their defence should be up to the task against the Saints.
Houston at Tennessee: Tennessee
Speaking of redemption, watch for Vince Young to show the Texans what they missed when he goes off this weekend. I may not know much about college football, but in a big game, when pride is on the line, Vince Young steps up. This weekend shouldn't be any different.
Jacksonville at Philadelphia: Philadelphia
And the man-crush continues. Really, it has nothing to do with actually liking the Eagles. I don't. In fact, I despise them. But the Jags are not the same team they were a couple years ago. Watch for McNabb to be the difference.
Seattle at Kansas City: Kansas City
No Shaun. No Hasselbeck. Seneca Wallace is not the answer. Now, KC has it's own worries with injuries as they rely on their third string QB. But they do have the guy....what's his name? Oh yeah, Larry Johnson.
San Francisco at Chicago: Chicago
Not even close. Sorry 'Niners fans. This one is gonna be UGLY.
Tampa Bay at New York Giants: New York Giants
The Bucs have been getting better. But they aren't up the Giants standards yet.
St. Louis at San Diego: San Diego
This could be a surprisingly good game. The whole Merriman fiasco is just a little added drama. Chargers are good enough, at home, that they can beat the Rams.
Indianapolis at Denver: Denver
It's strength versus strength (Indy passing against Denver D) and strength versus weakness (Denver running game versus Indy rush D). That equation adds up to a loss in Denver for the Colts. Manning will have a tough time in enemy territory and his D won't be able to stop the rush. If you haven't heard, Denver likes to rush the ball.
New York Jets at Cleveland: New York Jets
Cleveland isn't good. Pennington should be able to exploit the Cleveland D and connect enough to win the game.
Pittsburgh at Oakland: Pittsburgh
Much like the Chicago game, this is gonna be nasty.
Dallas at Carolina: Carolina
Two great wide receivers. Both are playmakers. Both are unstoppable when they are on. Both affect their teams. Difference is, one makes his team rally around him and fight. Look for Smith versus Owens to be close, but Carolina should win this one.
New England at Minnesota:
This is a difficult call for me. I want the Vikes to win, but I think that New England is a slightly better team. That being said, the Vikes could certainly upset them. Part of me wants to defend my teams honour, after Bitch called me out last week. But, to pick my own team because they are my team is silly. It's a bad way to gamble. It goes against my number one rule: Don't bet on your own team. Or Don't bet with your heart. Either way to pick the Vikes is to break a rule. That being said.........
GO VIKES!
Good Luck bitch!

A Real Deal Set Of Picks
All right, lost a tough bet this week when the Mets bowed to the Cardinals in Game 7, but that's okay. What wasn't okay was the loss by the Bengals to Tampa Bay last Sunday, memo to Carson Palmer... You're better then that, and that's why I'm picking you this week when you're at home against Carolina, DO NOT, fool me twice.
My picks...
Carolina at Cincinnati, pick: Cincinnati
Carson... don't let me down brother, last week you were on the road, this week you're at home. Just find 85 and let 'er rip
Green Bay at Miami, pick: Green Bay
Do not underestimate Joey Harrington's ability to lose. You think the Dolphins' fan might start chanting for Marcus Vick who was brought up from the practice roster this week if this game doesn't go well?
Detroit at New York Jets, pick: Jets
Detroit won a game last week, good for them, that's quaint. Jets take care of business at home this week.
Jacksonville at Houston, pick: Jacksonville
Leftwich in or Leftwich out? Doesn't matter because the Houston D can't stop anyone and David Garrard isn't that bad.
New England at Buffalo, pick: New England
Until JP Losman wakes up I'm going against the Bills.
Philadelphia at Tampa Bay, pick: Philadelphia
Liam has a man crush on Andy Reid. This is like the 5th week in a row that Liam has gone with the Eagles... slut.
Pittsburgh at Atlanta, pick: Atlanta
Pittsburgh beating up on KC without Trent Green does not constitute as the Steelers being "back". This week they step into Hotlanta who need redemption after a couple of down weeks.
San Diego at Kansas City, pick: San Diego
KC is brutal, although the aforementioned QB Green was given the greenlight to begin practicing again.
Denver at Cleveland, pick: Denver
Which Broncos team shows up this week? Two weeks ago they make fools out of 4-0 Baltimore, last week they barely survive the Oakland Raiders... I'm suspecting the good Broncos show up this week.
Arizona at Oakland, pick: Arizona
Trendy pick is Oakland at home. Forget it, Zona doesn't fall into the trap, at 1-5 they need a win bad to try and salvage the season.
Minnesota at Seattle, pick: Seattle
Liam is all too quick to turn his back on his Minnesota Vikings. What a fairweather fan. Show some sack Bitch, change your pick, go with your boys. Make this interesting.
Washington at Indianapolis, pick: Indianapolis
I conquer with Liam on this one, sorry Erin, this one is going to get ugly. But if you put up with Liam atleast you're used to the disappointment... too easy to resist.
MNF
New York Giants at Dallas, pick: New York Football Giants
Liam siding with T.O. How about them Cowboys !?! Forget it, the Eli-Train is rolling into Dallas this week and the Tiki Barber retirement tour continues and the Giants beat up on Big-D.
Showdown games:
Carolina (Liam) at Cincy (Ling)
Green Bay (Ling) at Miami (Liam)
Pittsburgh (Liam) at Atlanta (Ling)
NYG (Ling) at Dallas (Liam)
... and if Liam puts his balls back on, then we can ensure no tie this week if he takes his Vikes against my Seahawks.
My picks...
Carolina at Cincinnati, pick: Cincinnati
Carson... don't let me down brother, last week you were on the road, this week you're at home. Just find 85 and let 'er rip

Week 7 Picks
Well, it's my week to win at NFL picks. It has been back and forth all season, so hopefully that trend continues. It still hurts to sit down after the spanking I received last week. This week looks to be slightly more predictable, but as Jim Fowlie always said "If you have a lane, you can win". That's why they play the games, right?! So here we go...
Carolina at Cincinnati: Carolina
Tough game to call...but I think that a couple key injuries will hurt the Bengals. Oh yeah, and that Smith guy for Carolina is pretty good.
Green Bay at Miami: Miami
Both these teams suck. HARD. When in doubt, go with the home team.
Detroit at New York Jets: New York Jets
J-E-T-S...Jets Jets Jets!
Jacksonville at Houston: Jacksonville
Boring!
New England at Buffalo: New England
Come on, it's the Pats. No contest.
Philadelphia at Tampa Bay: Philadelphia
A huge victory for the Bucs last weekend. They could be so jacked up they just might win this, but I do think that the better team is Philly. I really like this kid Gradkowski...he is showing that Simms might have a fight on his hand when he gets back. Although, to not give Simms the starting gig would be PR suicide. The kid loses his spleen for his team and they dump him from the start?!?! NO WAY!
Pittsburgh at Atlanta: Pittsburgh
I hate to say that they are "back"...because I don't think they are necessarily, but they are still a tough team. I just don't think that Atlanta's one dimensional attack is good enough to get past the Steele Curtain!
San Diego at Kansas City: San Diego
APB for Larry Johnson. Where have you gone??? And it's almost guaranteed that he won't be found this weekend against a tough SD D.
Denver at Cleveland: Denver
This was a tough game to call. But the overall record of 15-5 for Denver was too much to pass on.
Arizona at Oakland: Arizona
Oakland is bad. Really bad. Leinhart was solid last week and should have a field day with the black and silver. Expect a big day from Boldin.
Minnesota at Seattle: Seattle
GO VIKES. In Seattle, now calling themselves "MetroNatural", even without Alexander the Great are a good team. Seriously, spending $500,000 for the new tagline "MetroNatural" is just ridiculous.
Washington at Indianapolis: Indy
Sorry Erin, this is gonna get ugly.
New York Giants at Dallas: Dallas
I think that the Bledsoe - TO train is just getting started. I think that Bledsoe is gonna start to realize that TO is good. Really good. A complete A-Hole, but good. I wouldn't want him as a teammate, but he's good. Go Giants!
Good Luck Bitch!
Carolina at Cincinnati: Carolina
Tough game to call...but I think that a couple key injuries will hurt the Bengals. Oh yeah, and that Smith guy for Carolina is pretty good.
Green Bay at Miami: Miami

I got smoked, but...
I did win the Bucs bet. So everybody, sing along with me...
B-U-C-C-A-N-E-E-R-S
Go Bucs!
Hey, hey Tampa Bay
The Bucs know how to shine
Hey, hey U.S.A.
The Bucs know how to shine
If we're in trouble that's O.K.
We can pull it out
Because we know we're on the top
When we stand up
Stand up and shout!
Hey, hey Tampa Bay
The Bucs know how to shine
Hey, hey U.S.A.
The Bucs know how to shine
Give a cheer for the Buccaneers
Go Bucs!
What do you think, worst fight song EVER????

Getting My Picks On...
Redemption week.
Buffalo at Detroit, pick: Buffalo
One week they'll play a 70 point game, the next a 7 point game. Until the Lions can find some consistancy I'm going with their opponent. Fire Millen.
Carolina at Baltimore, pick: Carolina
This pick is an indictment of the effort the Ravens offense put forth on Monday.
Cincinnati at Tampa Bay, pick: Cincinnati
Bitch, not going with Tampa this week? 0-16.
Houston at Dallas, pick: Dallas
I'll be more then happy to the Cowboys over the inept Texans D. Anyone remember who that Mario Williams guy is? Mistakes like Williams doom franchises to decades of futility.
New York Giants at Atlanta, pick: Giants
A tough pick, but I have to give Liam a chance this week. The Giants looked sharp last week on both sides of the ball versus the Redskins, I'm sticking with the hot hand.
Philadelphia at New Orleans, pick: Philly
I don't see Deuce getting much running room with the stacked D-line of Philly. If the Saints are going to be successful they're going to have to get to the edges with Reggie Bush, who is being used in a similiar fashion to the Eagles' Brian Westbrook, who coincidently should be scheduled for a season ending injury any week now..
Seattle at St. Louis, pick: Seattle
The Rams might be 4-1 but they're still not in Seattle's league.
Tennessee at Washington, pick: Washington
'Skins need a bounce back game after their loss to the Giants last week. Tennesee showed progress last week versus the Colts, but they might have blown their load.
Kansas City at Pittsburgh, pick: Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh desperately needs to get back on the right track and a Trent Green-less Chiefs is just what the doctor ordered.
Miami at New York Jets, pick: Jets
Miami is a mess. Pennington is still standing through 6 weeks. Take the Jets.
'A Whale's Vagina' at San Francisco, pick: San Diego
Too much of everything for the 49ers to keep up.
Oakland at Denver, pick: Denver
0 is for Oakland.
MNF
Chicago at Arizona, pick: Chicago
The Rex Grossman bandwagon rolls into the Pink Taco, expect a slaughtering.
Buffalo at Detroit, pick: Buffalo
One week they'll play a 70 point game, the next a 7 point game. Until the Lions can find some consistancy I'm going with their opponent. Fire Millen.
Carolina at Baltimore, pick: Carolina

Week 6 Picks!
This is coming at ya early as I make my way to St. Charles, Missouri. Then, after a couple productive meetings, to Carbondale, Illinois for Mary Lou's for a breakfast of B & G, La Bamba's for a burrito as big as my head, and Quatro's for the best deep dish pizza and ranch dip (yes, it's truly wonderful) in the world!!!!! And hopefully I won't weight over 200 after this weekend!!!
On with the picks:
Buffalo at Detroit: Buffalo
Man, both these teams blow, but Detroit is in the middle of some pretty serious injury problems. That, and a hungry Willis McGahee will be the death of Detroit.
Tennessee at Washington: Washington
As bitch so smartly points out, Washington is starting to look like they have a pulse. That being said, it doesn't take much of one to beat the Titans.
Seattle at St. Louis: Seattle
C'mon...it's Seattle. And St. Louis. 'Nuff said.
Philadelphia at New Orleans: Philadelphia
And so goes my "man-crush" on the Eagles. More than anything, I just don't believe in the Saints. I want to. I really do. It's a wonderful story, and the team is going to be good...I just think it's a little too early for them to turn it around all in one year.
NY Giants at Atlanta: Atlanta
I don't really like the Giants. Unless they wear red. Then I like them. Uh oh, I hope they don't wear red this weekend.
Houston at Dallas: Houston
I'm going with my heart on this one. It would warm my heart more than anything to see TO not get "enough" looks and have him cry on the sidelines. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE....I've been a good boy all year. Pretty please?!?!?!
Carolina at Baltimore: Carolina
This should be a great game. Baltimore will be pissed, but a little tired. Carolina is undefeated since the return of Superman. That trend should continue, even though this game is in Baltimore. They are extremely tough in Baltimore, but I don't think they get past Carolina this time.
Cincinatti at Tampa Bay: Cincinatti
Last weekend was so very close to the first win of the year. Small victories will have to keep the Bucs warm for another week as they face a tough, and rested, Bengal team that is hungry for blood. Look for a monster game from Carson Palmer.
Kansas City at Pittsburgh: Pittsburgh
Bill Cower has NEVER started the season 1-4. 'Nuff said.
Miami at NY Jets: NY Jets
Culpepper where have you gone????
San Diego at San Francisco: San Diego
HA HA HA.....are you serious? The 49ers couldn't beat them even in their powder blues.
Oakland at Denver: Denver
Randy Moss where have you gone???? Hey, wait a second...maybe the Vikes are on to something here.
Chicago at Arizona: Chicago
The Arizona Cardinals...what a cute little team. Them in their little uniforms, mini-helmets, and baby shoes. I can't wait to see what these guys are going to be when they grow up.
GOOD LUCK BITCH!

Call me Francisco Liriano...
Because I just went 12-2! (Okay fine, Liriano was 12-3)
After challenges, threats, and insults like "gutless", "you sicken me", and "I don't even know you anymore", I was able to forge ahead in the weekly NFL picks.
I will admit here that Bitch knows more about football than me. I'm a hockey and baseball guy. But I now take great pride in the fact that I can give Bitch a run for his money!
BRING ON WEEK 6!!!!!

The Big Six Showdown
Well, well, well....Looks like I am able to hold my own against the Great Bitch!
The Super-6 showdown games:
Tampa Bay (Liam) vs. New Orleans (Ling)
Okay, this was a fantastic game. Drama right up till the end, and could have gone either way. The better team won, but I feel vindicated that my Bucs pick wasn't ridiculous.
Kansas City (Liam) at Arizona (Ling)
LJ, LJ, LJ. So he didn't have a monster rushing day. But those 109 yards through the "air" certainly did some damage to an impressive looking Matt Leinhart.
NYJ (Liam) vs. Jacksonville (Ling)
OUCH. Body blow, body blow, upper cut, upper cut, Mighty Blow! This was U-G-L-Y. Like the 49ers game last week, this was embarassing.
Dallas (Ling) vs. Philly (Liam)
I thought TO would be much bigger factor in this one. Not sure if it was the Philly D that kept him off the board, or if it was Bledsoe. Either way, I am happy that TO got smoked. I hate the Eagles, but as long as I keep betting on them, GO EAGLES!!!
Pittsburgh (Ling) vs. San Diego (Liam)
Wasn't really impressed with either team. Rivers had a couple impressive drives, but nothing that really wowed me. Just another win on the books.
Baltimore (Ling) vs. Denver (Liam)
This is it. I can either win 4-2 on the weekend - which would piss Dave off something fierce, or Dave can tie it up....it all comes down to this game. Either way - I DON'T LOSE this weekend!!!!!
At the very least, Dave should admit that I am a worthy opponent. I'm not saying I'm better than he at picking NFL games, but at least "worthy".
GO DENVER!!!!!

TO-day in Philly
The most intriguing "home" coming this season in football occurs today when T.O. returns to Philadelphia after being rushed out of town last year. T.O. comes back with the already hated Cowboys, so this 4pm tilt is sure to be some kind of spectacle.
Here's the bet.... T.O. over/under 99.5 yards receiving today.
Surprisingly Liam has the over and Ling has the under. This is a very surprising development.
Go Terry Glenn!

Ling's Week 5
Buffalo at Chicago, pick: Chicago
I jumped off the Rex Grossman bandwagon last weekend and it cost me. This week, as promised, I am backing the Bears and the NFL's newest gun slinger QB Rex Grossman.
Cleveland at Carolina, pick: Carolina
Carolina has been picking up speed in the last couple of weeks and this week they breakthrough and climb above .500. Cleveland is just not ready to play with the big boys yet.
Detriot at Minnesota, pick: Minnesota
Detriot is awful. Fire Millen.
Miami at New England, pick: New England
That Liam has turned his back so quickly on his former boy Daunte sickens me. Liam could've atleast shown enough faith to take Miami in this game, but alas... gutless.
St. Louis at Green Bay, pick: St. Louis
Green Bay is lousy.
Tampa Bay at New Orleans, pick: New Orleans
Liam took T-Bay on the heels of our bet that I said Tampa would not win another game for the rest of the season. I will gladly take the Saints in a showdown game.
Tennessee at Indianapolis, pick: Indianapolis
Um yeah, I'm going to have to pick the Colts on this one.
Washington at New York Giants, pick: New York Giants
Tough game to pick, I really like the direction of the Redskins who won a really emotional game versus Jacksonville last week. I'm going with the home team on this one, G-Men.
Kansas City at Arizona, pick: Arizona
Liam is taking Larry Johnson, so I counter with the first professional start of Matt Leinart.
New York Jets at Jacksonville, pick: Jacksonville
Liam loves the Jets, J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS... you sicken me Bitch.
Oakland at San Francisco, pick: San Francisco
Two weeks in a row I'm going with the 49rers. Last week didn't work out so well, this week I think they'll be fine at home. The Raiders are horrible beyond words.
Dallas at Philadelphia, pick: Dallas
Liam's other favourite team.. the E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES! C'mon Bitch, I don't even know you anymore.
Pittsburgh at San Diego, pick: Pittsburgh
I am more then happy to take the defending Superbowl Champs coming off a bye week against a team with a first year starter at QB... sign me up.
MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
Baltimore at Denver, pick: Baltimore
Baltimore is on a roll, I need to keep rolling with them. The Sports Guy Bill Simmons has the ominous rule.. Never Trust Jake Plummer.

Week 5 Picks!
Short and Sweet today!
Great blog on Thursday's "The Talented Mr. Roto's Daily TRUM". Check it out: http://fantasy.mlblogs.com/
Now, on with the picks:
Buffalo at Chicago: Chicago
Cleveland at Carolina: Carolina
Detroit at Minnesota: Minnesota
I swear, if they lose then this is the last time I pick 'em. I'd glady pay $1 to have Minnesota win a football game, so it's money well spent if I lose.
Miami at New Englad: New England
St. Louis at Green Bay: St. Louis
Tampa Bay at New Orleans: Tampa Bay
This will be a big game for me. With a win in New Orleans, the Bucs ensure a "winning" season in my other wager with Bitch. GO BUCS!!!
Tennessee at Indianapolis: Indy
Washington at New York Giants: New York Giants
Kansas City at Arizona: Kansas City
Three more reasons that KC wins: Larry Johnson, Larry Johnson, Larry Johnson.
New York Jets at Jacksonville: New York Jets
In somewhat of an upset, the Jets will continue their great play and shock the Jags.
Oakland at San Francisco: San Francisco
Dallas at Philadelphia: Philadelphia
T.O. has his regular big game versus a former team, but it's not enough to beat the Eagles in Philly. On a side note, the Philly fans come to the stadium in "rare" (common?!) form and make a human sacrifice out of any Cowboy fan during a tailgate party.
Pittsburgh at San Diego: San Diego
Baltimore at Denver: Denver
This was the most difficult game for me to call. Baltimore has looked great, but Denver is solid and playing at home. Tough call, but my gut said Denver.
GOOD LUCK BITCH!

NFL Picks & Baseball Round Up
You can put it on the board!! 4-1 in the swing games, I killed Liam.
Houston, Baltimore, St. Louis, and of course a brilliant OT win by Washington over Jacksonville. Liam lucked out riding my coat tails last week but now my superior picking ability begins to shine through.
Zach Puke.... I am humble in Puke's defeat of Chacin in '06 by a tally of 10-9.
Troy Glaus prevailed over Vernon Wells in the '06 HR contest 38-32, Liam wins that wager.
Lyle Overbay jacked 22 HRs in '06 and with 2 homers in the final week of the season he was able to push beyond Shea Hillenbrand's 21 jacks.... Liam wins.
Liam also obviously wins the combo contest in a close contest.
Another disappointing loss in baseball came when Aaron Hill picked up 2 errors in the last 5 games to drop him to a .987 fielding %, only good enough for 7th amongst AL 2nd basemen.
Ling's only measure of revenge in baseball was Dontrelle Willis' 12-12 season, which means he failed to reach the 14.5 wins over.
Final baseball bet round-up... Liam 5 Ling 1...

Ling's Week 4 Picks
San Francisco at Kansas City, pick: San Francisco
Upset #1 for the week. I like the football the 49ers are playing and I like the fact that Trent Green is hurt. Liam can take KC all he wants, I'm going with the Niners on the road.
Miami at Houston, pick: Houston
For some odd reason Liam like the hopeless Dolphins... forget it, give me the Texans with the surprisingly good David Carr at QB.
Dallas at Tennessee, pick: Dallas
Bigger storyline... TO or VY? Probably TO and many casual fans will tune in to see TO but the hardcore football fans are tuning in on Sunday to watch the first career start of Vince Young. Given that, Dallas should roll.
Indianapolis at New York Jets, pick: Indianapolis
The Jets just aren't ready to hang with the Colts.
Minnesota at Buffalo, pick: Minnesota
Minnesota plays boring football, I hate them, they are the NFL equivalent to the NHL neutral zone trap. I will definitely not be watching this game.
San Diego at Baltimore, pick: Baltimore
West coast team playing on the east coast at 1pm... The Chargers should be sleep walking through the first half of this game, allowing the Baltimore D to terrorize Philip Rivers, give me Baltimore who are still 3-0, playing at home, and this will give me a difference maker this week versus Bitch.
New Orleans at Carolina, pick: Carolina
New Orleans still doesn't have me believing for some reason. I like Deuce, I like Bush, I like Brees... I don't like the New Orleans D on a short week and off an emotional MNF victory.
Arizona at Atlanta, pick: Atlanta
With VY starting in Tennesse you can almost here the countdown in Arizona to the Leinart era. Until Arizona makes the switch I'm backing the opposition, go Falcons.
Detroit at St. Louis, pick: St. Louis
I do not trust either team but I'm taking the home team and that's my only explanation.
Cleveland at Oakland, pick: Cleveland
Browns have shown signs of life with Edwards, Winslow, and Frye.. Oakland has shown?
Jacksonville at Washington, pick: Washington
I believe that something clicked with Washington last week and the light finally went on. I like the Redskins at home over the over-rated Jaguars.
New England at Cincinnati, pick: Bengals
I feel sorry for Tom Brady, could the Patriots get the man some real weapons? Doug Gabriel doesn't count, but I can think of another Raiders WR who would look good in NE... On the other hand Cincinnati's Carson Palmer has an array of weapons and that'll be the difference.
Seattle at Chicago, pick: Seattle
I"m not putting either team down, this should be a great game.
MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
Green Bay at Philadelphia, pick: Philadelphia
C'mon, Philly in Philly. Green Bay sucks.
The difference maker games this week -- San Francisco at Kansas City, Miami at Houston, San Diego at Baltimore, Detroit at St. Louis, Jacksonville at Washington.
