17.... just how Liam likes his boys at Sunset Beach.
Giants at Washington, pick: Giants
If Bitch is taking the 'Skins then I need to counter with the Giants. No Shockey. No Strahan. No Chemistry. A team on the brink of oblivion. All signs point to the Giants blowing it, so in the spirit of a crazy season, I'll take the Giants because it makes no sense.
Sunday picks...
Carolina at New Orleans, pick: New Orleans
Cleveland at Houston, pick: Houston
Detroit at Dallas, pick: Dallas
Jacksonville at Kansas City, pick: Kansas City
New England a Tennessee, pick: New England
Oakland at New York Jets, pick: New York Jets
Pittsburgh at Cincinnati, pick: Pittsburgh
Seattle at Tampa Bay, pick: Seattle

Atlanta (Ling) at Philadelphia (Liam)

Week 17 Picks!
Well, here it is...the last week. Bitch currently is 2 coins behind, and only one week to make it back. Suffice to say, LIAM IS THE WINNER!!!
So, on with the pick for Saturday's game.
New York Giants at Washington: Washington
Without Shockey, in a serious funk, and with Washington able to play spoiler...this is a perfect opportunity for Washington to gain their sixth win of an awful season.
More picks to come...
Good Luck Bitch.
Of Course, why wouldn't the Giants win?! Typical of this messed up season.
Carolina at New Orleans: New Orleans
Not sure what is wrong with Carolina this year, but New Orleans is looking like a baby New England Patriots - a very good "team".
Cleveland at Houston: Cleveland
Both teams are terrible.
Detroit at Dallas: Dallas
Detroit is awful.
Jacksonville at Kansas City: Kansas City
It's a friggin toss up which J'Ville team will ever show up. Larry Johnson should be there though. I hear that he's good.
New England at Tennessee: New England
As much as I like the way that Young has picked up his game, this is the time of year for New England to shine. Coming into the playoffs on a high note is what they do.
Oakland at New York Jets: New York Jets
Oakland is awful.
Pittsburgh at Cincinnati: Pittsburgh
Defending champs fighting for that playoff berth.
Seattle at Tampa Bay: Seattle
As much as I would like to say Tampa, I can't. Sure they are playing well with Rattay, but come on - Seattle has too many weapons.
St. Louis at Minnesota: Minnesota
Taking 'em till they win.
Atlanta at Philadelphia: Philadelphia
What happened to those Faclons?!?!?!? Eagles are playing well under Garcia....makes you wonder if maybe next year it's HIS mom that is handing out the Campbells soup.
Buffalo at Baltimore: Baltimore
No brainer.
Miami at Indianapolis: Indy
No brainer.
Arizona at San Diego: San Diego
No brainer. Class of the NFL right now.
San Francisco at Denver: Denver
Should be a good game, but I think that Denver is too good for them right now.
Green Bay at Chicago: Chicago
No brainer.
Good Luck Bitch!!!

NFL Week 16 PIcks
OK... So Bitch has come up with a series of self serving numbers and stats, whatever, all I know is that he's out picked me week to week this year and I'm none too happy about it.
Thursday Nighter...
Minnesota at Green Bay, pick: Packers
Let's start the week off with a showdown pick, I'm not even kidding around. The Vikes are starting a rookie at QB, his first career start. Lambeau Field, first start, definitely a winnable game for the Packers.
Saturday Nighter...
Kansas City at Oakland, pick: Kansas City
Yeah... the Raiders are brutal. Way to go Art Shell, you've done a helluva job.
Sunday picks...
Baltimore at Pittsburgh, pick: Baltimore
Too many people getting too cut picking Pittsburgh.
Carolina at Atlanta, pick: Atlanta
Stick with Vick.
Chicago at Detroit, pick: Chicago
Is the any doubt?
Indianapolis at Houston, pick: Indianapolis
No doubter.
New England at Jacksonville, pick: New England
Eliminating the Jags from the playoff picture.
New Orleans at New York Giants, pick: Giants
I need to pick a home team.
Tampa Bay at Cleveland, pick: Cleveland
Liam finally mans up and takes his home town team... too bad they're going to get killed in the cold.
Tennessee at Buffalo, pick: Vince Young
I can't go against this man, he's just getting it done.
Washington at St. Louis, pick: Washington
The Rams are in disarray, so are the 'Skins but I like Gibbs to get the 'Skins out easier then Scott Linehan.
Arizona at San Francisco, pick: Arizona
Redemption.... Leinart by thy name.
Cincinnati at Denver, pick: Bengals
Palmer vs. Cutler.... Palmer.... no matter how much snow is in Mile High.
San Diego at Seattle, pick: Seattle
Not in Seattle's house.
MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
Philadelphia at Dallas, pick: Dallas
TO get his catch on for Christmas.
New York Jets at Miami, pick: Jets
How glad do you think the Jets are to be in Miami for Christmas rather then the Dolphins having to be in LA.
Happy Holiday showdown games...
Minnesota (Liam) at Green Bay (Ling)
Baltimore (Ling) at Pittsburgh (Liam)
New Orleans (Liam) at Giants (Ling)
Tampa Bay (Liam) at Cleveland (Ling)
Tennessee (Ling) at Buffalo (Liam)
Washington (Ling) at St. Louis (Liam)
Arizona (Ling) at San Francisco (Liam)

8 showdown games... I'm already up 1-0 with Green Bay.

Running Totals
Bitch said something that got me thinking the other day. "Next year, we use running totals!". Now, I know that I have (more than) held my own on the weekly picks from week 3 on, but I haven't kept track of the overall season. I don't think it's quite as good as Bitch, but it's interesting to see:
Liam (without weeks 1-2): 110-81, for a winning percentage of .576
Ling (without weeks 1-2): 111-81, for a winning percentage of .578
(Yes, I missed/forgot a game - but correctly picked it in my other league, so I should be 111-81)
Now, since Bitch DID play the first two weeks, I decided to go back and see who I might have picked for those weeks. I didn't do as well as Bitch, but I feel confident saying I would have been 21-11. So, with those stats thrown in, here's how the season's running totals look:
Ling: 134-90, winning percentage of .598
Liam: 131-93, winning percentage of .585
DAMN! That's a pretty good race to the finish. AND....we still have two weeks to go.
I'm coming for you Bitch!!!

Week 16 Picks
Well, since I know that I am going to be travelling during the day on Thursday, I thought it would be wise to get my picks in now.
Minnesota at Green Bay: Minnesota
NO BRAINER! I can't lose on the season, so why wouldn't I pick my team. AND, they are going with the rookie in this one. No more Brad Johnson. I will be very interested to see how this game develops. I don't like Minnesota in the frozen tundra, but these two always play good games. GO VIKES!!!
Kansas City at Oakland: Kansas City
This could get ugly for Oakland. I see Larry Johnson running wild on the Black and Silver.
As always, Good Luck Bitch!
Baltimore at Pittsburgh: Pittsburgh
Carolina at Atlanta: Atlanta
Chicago at Detroit: Chicago
Indy at Houston: Indy
New England at Jacksonville: New England
New Orleans at New York Giants: New Orleans
The Giants are a different team with Strahan in the lineup...I'm just not sure if he's going to be in the lineup enough for them to be a different team.
Tampa Bay at Cleveland: Tampa Bay
Even a blind squirrel finds a nut from time to time.
Tennessee at Buffalo: Buffalo
Washington at St. Louis: St. Louis
Arizona at San Francisco: San Francisco
Have been playing well, and at home should be good enough.
Cincinatti at Denver: Cincinatti
Last week's stumble will be put behind them.
San Diego at Seattle: San Diego
They will prove that they are the class of the NFL.
Philadelphia at Dallas: Dallas
Look for Romo to try and prove he deserves that All Pro spot (which he doesn't)
New York Jets at Miami: Miami
As always, Good Luck, Merry Christmas, and Happy Birthday Bitch. I hope to see you tonight at the party.
Cheers!
Minnesota at Green Bay: Minnesota

Week 15 picks...
I completely forgot about tonights game....
Seahawks. It's a no-brainer.
Dallas at Atlanta: Dallas
I agree with Bitch. This is the safe pick. Atlanta is a dangerous team, but they haven't exactly been on fire recently. They got past both Washington and Tampa Bay, neither of which are serious contenders for anything but the Toilet Bowl. If they had Dunn back then I might think that Atlanta could pose a threat, but with just Vick, it won't be enough to get past a multi-weaponed Cowboys team. Look for Romo to bounce back with a solid game on the road.
Cleveland at Baltimore: Baltimore
It's payback time for the Ravens.
Detroit at Green Bay: Green Bay
Favre is 15-0 against the Lions at home. Hard to argue with what works.
Houston at New England: New England
Patriots are in their typical form come a few weeks before playoffs. Houston should keep it close, but only because the Pats don't care about running the score.
Jacksonville at Tennessee: Jacksonville
They are unpredictable. Who knows what team will show up when they play. If they're on they are going to run the ball. A lot. And Tennessee isn't very good at stopping the run. Slightly better than the Colts, but not by much. Look for Drew to rack up his regular 4 yards and multiple scores.
Miami at Buffalo: Miami
Not sure exactly what it is, but Miami has been playing well of late. I hate buffalo. Anything buffalo is awful. Yes, I know they have the Sabres, but I hate them too.
New York Jets at Minnesota: Minnesota
It's hard to argue with Bitch on this one. They have an old QB. They have a boring offense. They have an average RB (in fact, they have about 4 of them). They have inexperienced WR (I can't say "bad" yet). They stole Hutchinson from his team, the Seahawks. Their defense is actually pretty good (Bitch you are wrong on that one). Their coach came from Philly, so yes, he has no personality AND a bad mustache. And yes, they wear purple. But I gotta love 'em. They're my team! GO VIKES.
Pittsburgh at Carolina: Pittsburgh
Bitch thinks that Chris Weinke can take this team and beat the defending Super Bowl champs?!?!? Not sure what he is smoking, but Bitch...puff, puff, give brotha!!!
Tampa Bay at Chicago: Chicago
Last time I picked Chicago in a "no-brainer" they got SMOKED! That should be a once-in-a-lifetime kinda thing. NO chance they lose this one.
Washington at New Orleans: New Orleans
Well colour me black and gold. I'm beginning to believe.
Denver at Arizona: Denver
I don't see 'zona being able to compete offensively with the Broncos. Good rookie QB matchup though.
Philadelphia at New York Giants: New York Giants
I would take the home team in this matchup almost every time. Go GIANTS.
St. Louis at Oakland: St. Louis
I want to take Oakland, but this would make it a 4 game difference with Bitch. Someone has to win the week, so I will stick with St. Louis. I agree, this game is gonna be U-G-L-Y!
Kansas City at San Diego: San Diego
I see them being the class of this years teams. They seem to have it all right now. And by "all" I mean LaDanian Thomlinson.
Cincinnati at Indianapolis: Indy
"Begrudgingly" is the perfect word. I don't think that the Colts are playing that well right, but they have this guy named Manning who is pretty good. Except when it counts. Tough to say whether this game counts or not. It certainly does for the Bengals. Great game. I might have to tune in to see what happens.
So the prime matchups are as follows this week:
New York Jets (Ling) at Minnesota (Liam)
Pittsburgh (Liam) at Carolina (Ling)
Denver (Liam) at Arizona (Ling)
Seahawks. It's a no-brainer.

Weak 15 Picks
After another close loss last week, but a loss is a loss, I've now accepted the fact that this week I'm making my weak 15 picks...
For the Thursday game here's what I got...
San Francisco at Seattle, pick: SEAHAWKS
My boys got caught napping last week against pretty boy Leinart and the Cardinals but not this week. The Seahawks can clinch the division and a home game during the playoffs with a W and that's just what they'll do against the 49ers who are teetering at the brink of another losing season heading into tonight's action at 5-8 on the season. Next year Nolan, next year.
Well, Thursday was brutal, but both of us were wrong, in the Saturday Nighter...
Dallas at Atlanta, pick: COWBOYS
Atlanta has shown nothing since early in the season to prove that they're for real in the NFC. Safe pick is the Cowboys.
Sunday Games...
Cleveland at Baltimore, pick: Baltimore
Liam will go with me on this one.
Detroit at Green Bay, pick: Green Bay
This one too.
Houston at New England, pick: New England
Again I predict that Liam won't Man Up and take the Texans here.
Jacksonville at Tennessee, pick: Jacksonville
Vince Young has been good but the Jaguars need this one.
Miami at Buffalo, pick: Miami
I don't see Liam picking against the Dolphins here.
New York Jets at Minnesota, pick: Jets
Will Bitch stick tight with his beloved Vikings?
Pittsburgh at Carolina, pick: Carolina
Neither team excites me at all here. Go with the home team.
Tampa Bay at Chicago, pick: Chicago
No brainer. Bears D + Gradkowski = a long day for Tampa.
Washington at New Orleans, pick: New Orleans
Poor Joe Gibbs.
Denver at Arizona, pick: Arizona
Cutler vs. Leinart. Give me Leinart and the surging Buzzsaw!
Philadelphia at New York Giants, pick: Giants
C'mon Bitch, I know you love your Eagles.
St. Louis at Oakland, pick: St. Louis
There is nothing I can say to goad Liam into taking the Raiders in this one... even I can not do that. Unless I tell the story about...... nah, I'll keep that one in my back pocket.
Kansas City at San Diego, pick: San Diego
Come on Liam, it's your boytoy LJ! LJ!
MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
Cincinnati at Indianapolis, pick: Indianapolis
I'm confident that Liam will take the Bengals in this one just for a little bit of action... not the Sunset Beach kind of action, but action none the less.
For the Thursday game here's what I got...

Week 14
Oh you know me so well Bitch.
GO PITTSBURGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cleveland at Pittsburgh: Pittsburgh
They are the defending Super Bowl Champs. Sttelers found a way to win.
So now Bitch has to play catch up. And a part of me wants to take that Sunset Beach comment and just make the exact picks as Bitch. Thus, he loses this week. Remember, you play to win the game. As much as I would like to do that, Bitch knows that I won't. I know I won't. It would be a cheap win. And a win is a win, but I have to look at myself in the mirror in the morning, so bring on the games!
Atlanta at Tampa Bay: Atlanta
It has nothing to do with "MANNING UP" Bitch. It's about who's gonna win the game. Will I be "chearing" for the Bucs...probably a little, but the Falcons should win the game.
Baltimore at Kansas City: Kansas City
Tough game to call. KC has that guy, oh what's his name? Oh yeah, Larry Johnson. He's good. Scary good. Baltimore on their game should be able to hold him to about 80 yards, but he's good for at least a score or two.
Indy at Jacksonville: Indy
Manning is too good.
Minnesota at Detroit: Minnesota
I must be stupid!
New England at Miami: New England
Tom Brady and Co. are just getting into playoff form. These guys know how to play the game. No real superstars beyond Brady on the team, and they just continue to win. Very impressive.
New York Giants at Carolina: Carolina
Giants are just too unpredictable to predict if they are going to show up and play or not. I'll take Steve Smith and crew to win this one at home.
Oakland at Cincinnati: Cincinnati
Cincinnati is good enough to get by Oakland.
Philadelphia at Washington: Washington
The Igles aren't very good without McNabb. Camobell should be god enough to win.
Tennessee at Houston: Tennessee
I'll take the advice of Bitch of this one and take Vince Young. He's been winnning recently.
Green Bay at San Francisco: San Francisco
Both teams suck. Go home team.
Seattle at Arizona: Seattle
Another team hitting their stride. They should be able to sleep through this one easily.
Buffalo at New York Jets: New York Jets
This game could go either way...but in order to have a definite winner this week, I will stick with the Jets. We don't want to have 4 swing games now do we?!
Denver at San Diego: San Diego
LT is the man. And I hear that there is some good D guy back for the Chargers. Could mean trouble for the run happy Broncos.
New Orleans at Dallas: Dallas
Romo fever is here to stay. Reggie isn't prime time yet. I hear that they still have a pretty good back in Deuce.
Chicago at St. Louis: Chicago
I'm not sold on the Bears right now. At least, not in the playoffs. They should be able to get past the Rams, but once they play REAL teams, it might be tough to keep winning.
So, three swing games again this week.
Cleveland (Ling) at Pittsburgh (Liam)
Minnesota (Liam) at Detroit (Ling)
New York Giants (Ling) at Carolina (Liam)
Good Luck Bitch!

Week 14 Picks
Tonight... and then more to come for Sunday.
Cleveland at Pittsburgh, pick: Cleveland
I'm going upset tonight because I know Bitch will play it safe and go with Pittsburgh. Finally 'The Warrior' Kellen Winslow has the National TV spotlight on the NFL Network to show the 1000s of die hard football fans who bother subscribing to the NFL Network why he's the best TE in football in 2006.
OK... so Thursday didn't go very well, I need to play catch up.
Atlanta at Tampa Bay, pick: Atlanta
One would think it would be good for Liam to MAN UP and pick his hometown Bucs... However, I think Bitch has an affinity for the dirty birds.
Baltimore at Kansas City, pick: Kansas City
As long as the guy painting the end zone doesn't write 'CHEFS' I think Green and Co. should be able to defend home turf.
Indianapolis at Jacksonville, pick: Indianapolis
Indianapolis will not lose again.
Minnesota at Detroit, pick: Detroit
Now I know I'm going to get some action when I pick the horrible Lions against Liams beloved purple wearing double dildo helmets from Minnesota... it's kind of like when Liam strolls down to the southern end of Sunset Beach he knows he can find some of the action he likes.
New England at Miami, pick: New England
Miami... what happened to you... In New England I trust.
New York Giants at Carolina, pick: Giants
Carolina can't beat the Eagles without McNabb... The Giants should be able to take this one.
Oakland at Cincinnati, pick: Cincinnati
No brainer. Mr. Quinn, Mr. Brady Quinn should be looking at houses in the Oakland area for next summer.
Philadelphia at Washington, pick: Washington
Yikes... just take the home team.
Tennessee at Houston, pick: Tennessee
I'm drinking the Vince Young Kool Aid.
Green Bay at San Francisco, pick: San Francisco
Yikes... just take the home team.
Seattle at Arizona, pick: Seattle
Matt Leinart with a big W last week. This week... a humbling experience is on the menu at home in the Pink Taco (I know it's called 'University of Phoenix Stadium' but I refuse to recognize a name that shitty).
Buffalo at New York Jets, pick: Jets
JP Losman has come on a little bit in the latter part of the season but is it enough to guarantee him that the Bills won't draft a QB in the first round of the upcoming draft? Brian Brohm? Heismann winner Troy Smith? Or maybe a trade to acquire Byron Leftwich? A return of Drew Bledsoe? Kurt Warner? So many questions... for Sunday, roll with Pennington.
Denver at San Diego, pick: Chargers
Jay Cutler was unimpressive last week... this week he gets the dynamic Chargers defense that is energized with the returned Shawne Merriman.. could be LIGHTS OUT for Cutler.
New Orleans at Dallas, pick: Cowboys
Now this is going to be a fun game to watch. Reggie Bush is now a bonafide NFL running back after busting lose for 4 TDs last week. The Cowboys are obviously still riding the momentum of Romomania. TO can't even buy attention in Big D. How 'bout them Cowboys?
MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
Chicago at St. Louis, pick: Chicago
I don't care if Grossman has a QB rating of 0.3 this week, the Bears will still beat the Rams...
Cleveland at Pittsburgh, pick: Cleveland

The Taste Of Victory
The taste of victory this week is very sweet with a 3-0 drubbing of Liam in the showdown games. However, I will not rest on my laurels, I need victory this week as well. I'm hungry for victory.

WEEK 13 PICKS
Big week for Bitch here...
Baltimore at Cincinnati: Baltimore
Bitch got me on this one already
Arizona at St. Louis: St. Louis
I don't have any read of Arizona. None at all. With that in mind, assume they will lose most weekends.
Atlanta at Washington: Washinton
Washington is 10-1 against the Falcons at home. This might be their toughest test of those 11, but they have the potential to play well enough to win.
Detroit at New England: New England
No brainer.
Indianapolis at Tennessee: Indy
No brainer.
Kansas City at Cleveland: Kansas City
Bottom line: the best team wins most weeks.
Minnesota at Chicago: Chicago
These two usually split their season series, but with Chicago already winning in Minnesota, and the Vikes playing like crap, it's too much of a stretch to take them. The Vikes should even the series, but...
New York Jets at Green Bay: Green Bay
Maybe I'm the one who's lost his mind. The weather is going to be NASTY and that "should" help the Pack. I don't know why it didn't help them last weekend, with the exception of maybe they didn't know it was going to be like that. They should be prepared and ready for nasty weather. Come on Favre!!!
San Diego at Buffalo: San Diego
LT is a beast!
San Francisco at New Orleans: New Orleans
Very difficult game to call here. San Fran is playing well of late, and New Orleans isn't. Somebody tell me how the Saints are in first place?!!? I would love to take the 49ers, but I just don't think they can beat these guys. Breese is playing well enough that he should be able to carry the Saints to victory. I hope.
Houston at Oakland: Oakland
Oakland has been playing better in recent weeks. And I need a third game different than Bitch. Come on Brooks, don't let me down!!!
Jacksonville at Miami: Miami
Very tough game here. Jacksonville is probably the better team, but they are soooo damn inconsistant. Miami is playing well, AND at home.
Dallas at New York Giants: Dallas
Romo Express keeps rolling!
Tampa Bay at Pittsburgh: Pittsburgh
I came very close to picking the Bucs. Pittsburgh just doesn't look good...but at home, they should be good enough to win.
Seattle at Denver: Seattle
Should be a good game....but with Alexander the Great starting to get his Groove back, they should be strong enough to handle the run happy Broncos.
Carolina at Philadelphia: Carolina
I love watching the Igles struggle. HA HA HA HA HA HA.
So, the important games are:
Baltimore (Liam) at Cincinatti (Ling)
New York Jets (Ling) at Green Bay (Liam)
Houston (Ling) at Oakland (Liam)
GOOD LUCK BITCH!
