LING: NFL Picks Week 8

After another winning week last week and a dazzling .680 successful picking percentage, I'm looking to follow that up with another monster week this week. Here are the Week 8 winning picks...

Sunday...

Colts at Panthers, PICK: Colts

Steelers at Bengals, PICK: Steelers

Raiders at Titans, PICK: Titans

Giants at Dolphins, PICK: Giants

Browns at Rams, PICK: Browns
Liam is inexplicably taking the Rams who have been horrible this year, I don't care if they're at home and Stephen Jackson is back and the Browns are horrible on the road... The Rams are just horrible and the Browns are coming off a bye.

Lions at Bears, PICK: Bears

Eagles at Vikings, PICK: Vikings
Minnesota sucks at defending the pass, which bodes well for the Eagles who like to throw the ball. Dome conditions might not hurt McNabb's cause either.

Texans at Chargers, PICK: Chargers

Bills at Jets, PICK: Jets
Two bad teams, take the home team and laugh at Liam when he loses

Jaguars at Bucs, PICK: Bucs

Redskins at Patriots, PICK: Patriots

Saints at 49ers, PICK: Saints

MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

Packers at Broncos, PICK: Broncos

Swing Games...
Cleveland (LING) at St. Louis (LIAM)
Bills (LIAM) at Jets (LING)
Philadelphia (LING) at Minnesota (LIAM)

SEASON TO DATE...
LING: 10-4... 70-33 (.680)
LIAM: 9-5... 59-44 (.573)

Good luck Bitch, looks like a wild week.

Weeks 8 Picks

Detroit at Chicago: Chicago

Oakland at Tennessee: Tennessee

Cleveland at St. Louis: St. Louis
Steven Jackson is back...and ready to prove he's not a total bust on my fantasy football team.

Philadelphia at Minnesota: Minnesota
I gotta back my boys. If I picked the Eagles then Bitch would never let me hear the end of it. The Vikes are my team. Period.

Pittsburgh at Cincinatti: Pittsburgh
They have dominated at Cinci. And after a nasty loss last weekend, this is a true test of their testicular fortitude.

Indy at Carolina: Indy

Houston at San Diego: San Diego

New Orleans at San Francisco: New Orleans
San Francisco is in shambles. New Orleans seems to be finding their true self after a season that saw them ride emotion all year.

Buffalo at NY Jets: Buffalo
I hate this game. Both teams suck. At least this new QB for Buffalo has been able to put some kind of offense together. More than can be said for Chad Pennington.

Jacksonville at Tampa Bay: Tampa Bay
Quinn Gray??!?!?!?! I just hope that he doesn't answer the question "Who the hell is THIS guy?" on Sunday.

Washington at New England: New England
Washington might put up a serious fight here...but it just won't be enough. Sorry babe.

NY Giants at Miami: NY Giants. Miami hasn't lost at home to NY Giants on over 10 years. Too bad this isn't at home. A game in London, huh?! Giants are hot, Miami is not. 'Nuff said.

Monday Night Football:

Green Bay at Denver: Denver
I'm just not buying this cheese-machine. They are one-dimentional, and the Denver pass defense is pretty good (I hope). If Champ is back, this game gets even closer. Close game, Brett gets his numbers, but doesn't get his W.

Good Luck Bitch!

Saturday, October 20, 2007

Okay, a few more Swing Games than last week.

Sunday...

Falcons at Saints, PICK: SAINTS

Bucs at Lions, PICK: LIONS

Vikings at Cowboys, PICK: COWBOYS

Titans at Texans, PICK: TEXANS

Cardinals at Redskins, PICK: REDSKINS

Patriots at Dolphins, PICK: PATRIOTS

49ers at Giants, PICK: GIANTS

Ravens at Bills, PICK: RAVENS

Jets at Bengals, PICK: BENGALS

Chiefs at Raiders, PICK: RAIDERS
But only because we HAVE to have an odd number of Swing Games

Bears at Eagles, PICK: EAGLES

Rams at Seahawks, PICK: SEAHAWKS

Steelers at Broncos, PICK: STEELERS

MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

Colts at Jaguars, PICK: COLTS

Swing Games:

Bucs (Ling) at Lions (Liam)
Titans (Ling) at Texans (Liam)
Ravens (Liam) at Bills (Ling)

LOOKING TO GO 3-0 THIS WEEK BITCH!

As always, Good Luck Bitch!

49ers at Giants, PICK: GIANTS

Week 6 Picks

Okay, this is gettin' ugly. No smart ass comments, it's all about business this week.

Rams at Ravens, PICK: Ravens

Redskins at Packers, PICK: Redskins
I originally had the Packers at home here. But my only other different game was the Eagles. We can't have two Swing Games. So I'm taking the 'Skins. Erin loves me again.

Bengals at Chiefs, PICK: Bengals

Eagles at Jets, PICK: Eagles
Eagles suck. This is true. But the Jets aren't that great either.

Titans at Bucs, PICK: Titans
Both teams suck. Titans suck less.

Dolphins at Browns, PICK: Browns

Texans at Jaguars, PICK: Jaguars

Vikings at Bears, PICK: Bears
I would love to back my team, but choosing with the heart is never good. Bears won't be able to run the ball, and they aren't very good at passing...but they should have enough to get past the woeful Vikes.

Panthers at Cardinals, PICK: Cardinals
Carr is no good.

Patriots at Cowboys, PICK: Patriots
The Patriots are just too strong. They have too many weapons. If it's not Moss, it's Watson. If it's not Watson it's one of the RBs.

Raiders at Chargers, PICK: Chargers
My suicide pick of the week.

Saints at Seahawks, PICK: Seahawks
Seahawks at home. Easy.

MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
Giants at Falcons, PICK: Giants
Falcons are BAD.

SWING GAMES:
Eagles (Liam) at Jets (Ling)

SEASON TO DATE...
LING: 54-22 (.710)
LIAM: 43-33 (.566)

Good Luck Bitch!

LING: NFL Picks Week 6

Sunday...

Rams at Ravens, PICK: Ravens
There is one rule this season so far... go against the Rams at all costs.

Redskins at Packers, PICK: Redskins
I'm taking the 'skins because the Packers will be looking to throw and the Redskins just don't give up passing TDs (only 2 on the season). LaRon Landry and Sean Taylor might kill someone on Sunday.

Bengals at Chiefs, PICK: Bengals
The Chiefs got exposed last week and the problems will continue this week.

Eagles at Jets, PICK: Jets
It's the Jets at home and I continue to remind anyone who will listen... the Eagles suck.

Titans at Bucs, PICK: Titans
The Vince Young Domination Express takes a backseat this week to the Jeff Fisher NFC South pwning practice... that is to say that Fisher is 13-1 against NFC South opponents and the Bucs are in the NFC south... give me the Titans.

Dolphins at Browns, PICK: Browns
Dolphins move into the sure-to-be short lived Cleo Lemon era in Miami. Waiting in the wings... John Beck.

Texans at Jaguars, PICK: Jaguars
Matt Schaub is only so great a magician... he needs some receiver help to get healthy. Where is Andre Johnson?

Vikings at Bears, PICK: Bears
Bears.

Panthers at Cardinals, PICK: Cardinals
The Vinny Testaverde Era might begin on Sunday, so I'm taking the Cardinals... big.

Patriots at Cowboys, PICK: Patriots
The so-called Game of the Week. There is no evidence to go against the Patriots.

Raiders at Chargers, PICK: Chargers
The Chargers are at home versus the rapidly improving Lane Kiffins. I'll go with the Chargers because they are at home and they should look to go heavy on the LDT this weekend.

Saints at Seahawks, PICK: Seahawks
The Seahawks had a bye week last week... The Saints have been on a bye every week so far this season. Things continue to get real ugly for the Aints.

MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

Giants at Falcons, PICK: Giants
Things are not good in ATL. The Giants continue their roll.

SEASON TO DATE...
LING: 54-22 (.710)
LIAM: 43-33 (.566)

I'm on a 3 week winning streak, what do you have for me this week Bitch?

Monday, October 08, 2007

The More Things Stay The Same...

The Jaguars smother the Chiefs.

The Redskins put a beat down on the Lions

The Steelers blanked the Seahawks.

And I put another BBBBBBBBBBBRRRRRRRRUTAL destruction of Liam on the board. That's 3 straight weeks and two weeks in a row shutting out the Philadelphia Flopper.

You play to win the game... and I just keep on winning.

LING: NFL Picks Week 5

Sunday...

Falcons at Titans, PICK: Titans
To think that a few months ago this was supposed to be Vick vs. Young in a battle of explosive playmaking QBs who can get it done with their arms and their legs... now it's Vince Young against one of the worst teams in football.

Jaguars at Chiefs, PICK: Jaguars
Jaguars are coming off a bye week and are taking on the Chiefs who did score a big win last week against the Chargers. However, there is no way in hell I'm taking the Chiefs to move to 3-2 on the season. I'm taking the Jags.

Cardinals at Rams, PICK: Cardinals
No Bulger, no Rams.

Panthers at Saints, PICK: Saints
Saints are coming off a bye week and are playing at home against David Carr... too many factors going against the Panthers. This is a make or break game to see whether Reggie Bush is a legitimate NFL star or just another college phenom who couldn't get it done in the big-time.

Dolphins at Texans, PICK: Texans
Dolphins are hopeless and the Texans are at home.

Browns at Patriots, PICK: Patriots
Could Brady Quinn make an appearance once the Patriots put this game out of reach?

Jets at Giants, PICK: Giants
The Battle of New Jersey. The Jets can't seem to get stuff going this year, so I'll take the Giants.

Seahawks at Steelers, PICK: Steelers
Here is a swing game in this week's line-up. In the game of the week, with my Seahawks traveling across the country to go into Heinz Field I am taking... the Steelers.

Lions at Redskins, PICK: Redskins
Another swing game... The Lions NEVER win in Washington. I don't expect it to happen in 07.

Ravens at 49ers, PICK: Ravens
The 49ers are decimated and traveling across the country, the Ravens get a big win.

Chargers at Broncos, PICK: Chargers
The Chargers need to win. The Chargers NEED to win. Otherwise... season over and Norv Turner fired.

Bucs at Colts, PICK: Colts
This is a better game then most think, with a line of 10 I expect that the Colts won't cover but will win this game.

Bears at Packers, PICK: Packers
Bears vs. Packers on SNF... Give me the Packers to go to 5-0.

MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

Cowboys at Bills, PICK: Cowboys
The Bills are on MNF? And their starting QB is Trent Edwards. Cowboys. Big!

Swing games...
Jaguars (Ling) vs. Chiefs (Liam)
Seahawks (Liam) vs. Steelers (Ling)
Lions (Liam) vs. Redskins (Ling)

SEASON TO DATE...
LING: 42-20 (.677)
LIAM: 33-29 (.532)

That's 9 picks! I'm up 9 picks. Good thing for Liam there is no overall prize and we're keeping this week to week... however, I would like to remind him... 9 picks.

Week 5 Picks

Okay, time to really start to play now. I got my ass handed to me the past couple of weeks, and it's time for me to turn this ship around.

Atlanta at Tennessee: Tennessee
Atlanta is just plain bad.

Jacksonville at Kansas City: Kansas City
I gotta think that LJ is starting to come around. He's just too good to not get his first TD here.

Arizona at St. Louis: Arizona
I really want to pick St. Louis. Their starting QB is out. Their starting RB is out. Their line is an absolute shambles. Every sign points to a loss. Usually that's when teams either step up and prove their worth.....or they suck goat. A couple years ago I would be on the Gus Frerrote bandwagon. Not anymore.

Carolina at New Orleans: New Orleans
Speaking of bad teams. New Orleans cannot keep losing like this. Look for Reggie to have his first BIG game of the year. On a side note, I need Drew Brees to step it up for my fantasy team.

Miami at Houston: Houston
I can't believe I am going to take Houston. Ever. But the way Miami is playing, I think that the Philly Soul could take them.

Cleveland at New England: New Englad
I almost too NE as my suicide pick...then remembered what Cleveland did to another high powered offense in Cinci. New England should still win handily, but I wasn't ready to go bigger than a buck.

NY Jets at NY Giants: NY Giants
Home team. Oh, that and the fact that they will have the genetic freak Brandon Jacobs back in the lineup. Thanks Derrick Wark - you were great while you started.

Seattle at Pittsburgh: Seattle
Not sure if this qualifies as an upset or not...but I think Seattle comes out of here with the win. Both teams are very good, but with a few potential injuries the Steele are just a smidge worse off. If Troy Polamalu were playing I might feel differently.

Detroit at Washington: Detroit
WOW...Detroit is 0-17 in Washington. That's just unbelievable. You almost have to try to be that bad in one particular place. I don't think that the Washington D will be good enough to take on the Detroit receivers (even in CJ doesn't play). They have a different kind of attack from years past. Although, with this only being one game, a 1-17 record isn't anything to write home about.

Baltimore at San Francisco: Baltimore
With Alex Smith behind the helm, I MIGHT have taken them. Without him, the edge swings to the Ravens.

San Diego at Denver: San Diego
If the SD running game is on, and against Denver it should be, then their offense clicks. If a team can shut down LT, and Denver cannot, they are able to focus on Rivers making mistakes. Look for LT and Gates to have big games.

Tampa Bay at Indy: Indy
My survivor pick. As close as a gimme as they come this week.

Chicago at Green Bay: Chicago
I HAVE to think that with Chicago knowing that the GB attack is strictly passing they should capitalize on some turnovers. Favre has been an absolute STUD this year...and I apologize for calling him selfish by coming back again. He has proven me wrong. But I can't see the Big Green Machine getting to 5-0.

Monday Night Special

Dallas at Buffalo: Dallas
I can't wait to see the Dallas vs. New England matchup. In the playoffs. Oh how quickly we forget about Tony Romo from last season. At this point, he can do no wrong. Dallas stays as the only undefeated team in the NFL.

Good Luck Bitch!

and Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!

Victory.... As Usual

This is getting good... Johnny Drama sending me out some kudos for another dominating performance.

3-0 in the swing games thanks to the Packers, Lions, and Cardinals.

Thanks Bitch, I appreciate the $1 again this week.

We should talk about some hockey wagers this week.
