Week 5 Picks

Okay, time to really start to play now. I got my ass handed to me the past couple of weeks, and it's time for me to turn this ship around.

Atlanta at Tennessee: Tennessee
Atlanta is just plain bad.

Jacksonville at Kansas City: Kansas City
I gotta think that LJ is starting to come around. He's just too good to not get his first TD here.

Arizona at St. Louis: Arizona
I really want to pick St. Louis. Their starting QB is out. Their starting RB is out. Their line is an absolute shambles. Every sign points to a loss. Usually that's when teams either step up and prove their worth.....or they suck goat. A couple years ago I would be on the Gus Frerrote bandwagon. Not anymore.

Carolina at New Orleans: New Orleans
Speaking of bad teams. New Orleans cannot keep losing like this. Look for Reggie to have his first BIG game of the year. On a side note, I need Drew Brees to step it up for my fantasy team.

Miami at Houston: Houston
I can't believe I am going to take Houston. Ever. But the way Miami is playing, I think that the Philly Soul could take them.

Cleveland at New England: New Englad
I almost too NE as my suicide pick...then remembered what Cleveland did to another high powered offense in Cinci. New England should still win handily, but I wasn't ready to go bigger than a buck.

NY Jets at NY Giants: NY Giants
Home team. Oh, that and the fact that they will have the genetic freak Brandon Jacobs back in the lineup. Thanks Derrick Wark - you were great while you started.

Seattle at Pittsburgh: Seattle
Not sure if this qualifies as an upset or not...but I think Seattle comes out of here with the win. Both teams are very good, but with a few potential injuries the Steele are just a smidge worse off. If Troy Polamalu were playing I might feel differently.

Detroit at Washington: Detroit
WOW...Detroit is 0-17 in Washington. That's just unbelievable. You almost have to try to be that bad in one particular place. I don't think that the Washington D will be good enough to take on the Detroit receivers (even in CJ doesn't play). They have a different kind of attack from years past. Although, with this only being one game, a 1-17 record isn't anything to write home about.

Baltimore at San Francisco: Baltimore
With Alex Smith behind the helm, I MIGHT have taken them. Without him, the edge swings to the Ravens.

San Diego at Denver: San Diego
If the SD running game is on, and against Denver it should be, then their offense clicks. If a team can shut down LT, and Denver cannot, they are able to focus on Rivers making mistakes. Look for LT and Gates to have big games.

Tampa Bay at Indy: Indy
My survivor pick. As close as a gimme as they come this week.

Chicago at Green Bay: Chicago
I HAVE to think that with Chicago knowing that the GB attack is strictly passing they should capitalize on some turnovers. Favre has been an absolute STUD this year...and I apologize for calling him selfish by coming back again. He has proven me wrong. But I can't see the Big Green Machine getting to 5-0.

Monday Night Special

Dallas at Buffalo: Dallas
I can't wait to see the Dallas vs. New England matchup. In the playoffs. Oh how quickly we forget about Tony Romo from last season. At this point, he can do no wrong. Dallas stays as the only undefeated team in the NFL.

Good Luck Bitch!

and Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!
