Standings Update: Liam vs. Ling

To date here are the updated standings....

Ling... 8
Liam... 6

Still running bets:

Vernon Wells HRs (Ling) vs. Troy Glaus HRs (Liam)
After tonight's game and VW's 2-run HR puts him at 31 homers versus Glaus' 34

Shea Hillenbrand HRs (Ling) vs. Lyle Overbay HRs (Liam)
Shea had just 12 HRs with the Jays but upon being traded to San Fran he's added another 8 to put him at 20 total versus Overbay's 19.

Combined.. Wells & Hillenbrand HRs (Ling) vs. Glaus & Overbay HRs (Liam)
Simple math, VW & Shea at 51 to Glaus & Overbay at 53. Good bet, should go down to the wire.

Dontrelle Willis over/under 14.5 victories in 2006 (Liam with the over)
The D-Train sits at just 9 wins so far this season despite the surprising season of the Marlins.

Zach Puke (Liam) versus Gustavo Chacin (Ling) in terms of wins
Chacin has missed most of the season with elbow problems but he's still at 7 wins and just behind Puke who stands at 8.

Aaron Hill will finish in the top 5 in AL second basemen fielding percentage
Amongst everyday 2B in the AL the top fielding percentages are....
1. Mark Ellis (OAK) .996
2. Mark Grudzielanek (KC) .995
3. Mark Loretta (BOS) .993
4. Aaron Hill (TOR) .991
5. Brian Roberts (BAL) .990
6. Luis Castillo (MIN) .989
7. Placido Polanco (DET) .988
8. Tad Iguchi (CWS) .987
Obviously the top 7 are all very close, but Aaron Hill is still right in there at #4.

With Hockey ready to start we have the 2nd year of the Alex Ovechkin versus Sidney Crosby goals challenge.

The newest wager is Ling has atleast 2 Leafs scoring 30 goals this year, Liam has bet against.

That's where we're at right now.
