Week 2 Picks

I hope that Bitch has recovered from the ass-whooping I laid on him last weekend. Actually, it was damn close as two games came down to the final minutes. It really could have gone either way...kinda like Bitch.

Week 2 Matchups:

Houston at Carolina:
Pick: Carolina
I like them in my survivor pool too. Just too much talent in Steve Smith to pick the Texans. And not enough talent for Houston.

Cincinatti at Cleveland:
Pick: Cincinatti
Again, too much firepower at Carson Palmer's fingertips to take the Browns. It's quite ridiculous what he has to work with. Ocho Cinco, TJ Whosyamamma, and Rudi are WAY too much for the Browns.

Atlanta at Jacksonville:
Pick: Jacksonville
I didn't like what I saw from the Falcons last weekend against my Vikes. The Vikes are not a great team...and they manhandled the Falcons. Jacksonville should have a similar type day.

Green Bay at NY Giants:
Pick: NY Giants
See what I get for expressing my feelings. My mancrush Brandon Jacobs is down and out. Manning is also potentially out for this game...but he may sack up and decide to play. If he ever hopes to come out from under his brother's shadow he will have to do it with some gritty play. My gut tells me that he is going to start. How successful he is dictates whether the Giants win or lose. I like the Giants in a tight affair.

Buffalo at Pittsburgh:
Pick: Pittsburgh
I hate Buffalo. Although, I hope Lynch runs for about 150 and two scores. I just hope that it's not enough to get past the Steele.

San Francisco at St. Louis:
Pick: St. Louis
I wasn't really all that impressed with the 49ers last weekend. I applaud Alex Smith for his last minute heroics...but the rest of the game stunk. Look for the Rams to score easy and often. And SJax to have a HUGE bounce back game.

New Orleans at Tampa Bay:
Pick: New Orleans
For some reason Bitch seems to think that I have some affinity for the God-awful Suckaneers. I don't. Not in the least. Look for Drew Breese to show us all why he was taken as one of the first QBs off the Fantasy Board.

Indianapolis at Tennessee:
Pick: Indy
Not even close. Not even close at the half. It's days like this that I wish I had any Indy WR on my fantasy team.

Seattle at Arizona:
Pick: Seattle
'Zona sucked last weekend. Seattle is good. I love the Cards WR, but they don't have enough to compete with Bitch's 'Hawks.

Minnesota at Detroit:
Pick: Minnesota Vikings !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Quick name the only player EVER to have 100 yards rushing AND a 60 yard TD pass in his debut. Adrian Peterson. Pretty impressive eh?! Not sure it's enough to get past a vastly improved Lions team. BUT...I am going to bet with my heart on this one. It's close...and the Vikes have had some success at Ford Field (5-0) and have won the last 11 meetings between these two teams. It might be time for the Lions to step up.....but I hope not.

Dallas at Miami:
Pick: Dallas
Romo looked reeeeallllly good last weekend. He made it look incredibly easy. I don't think that Miami is going to be able to do much against the Cowboys attack. Look for a blowout.

NY Jets at Baltimore:
Pick: Baltimore
Can Chad Pennington last in the NFL for more than 3 games without going down with an injury? The Ravens will attack the NYJ QB and if it is Chad, he's gonna have a hard time getting up.

Kansas City at Chicago:
Pick: Chicago
No brainer. KC is not a good team. They do have Larry Johnson, but the Chicago D should be able to somewhat contain him. At least enough to keep the win.

Oakland at Denver:
Pick: Denver
Oakland is a mess right now. I think that Daunte might be able to come in and run with the starting QB gig. That being said, I don't think they have enough to win against the run happy Broncos.

San Diego at New England:
Pick: New England
What happens now that NE can't steal the plays of other teams??? I think that Tom Brady will still find a way to win. When you have players like Randy Moss, Donte Stallworth, and Laurence Maroney you should be okay. Don't get me wrong, this will be a very close game...but the good QBs always find a way to win. At least, Brady does.

Washington at Philadelphia:
Pick: Philadelphia
I'm sorry Erin. I hate the Eagles. I will be chearing for the 'Skins 110% of the way...but I just don't think they have enough to get past the Eagles. Look for McNabb to shake off the rust from a long layoff and get back on track. It won't be a laugher...but it won't be too close either.

Season to Date:
Liam: 12-4
Bitch: 11-5

Good Luck Bitch
